Throughout her 20-year career in Higher Education, Cora Beth has been working to bring about systems change, in the belief that a one-size-fits-all education system doesn’t work for people on the margins.

Cora Beth has taken the lead on multiple university projects and initiatives. At The Open University she designed and conducted the award-winning Relaxed Tutorial Project, a sector-leading initiative which explored the implications of designing live online tutorials with autism in mind.

Cora Beth is currently working on designing support systems for neurodivergent postgraduates at Masters and PhD level. As a founder member of the ‘Supporting Autistic PhD Researchers’ Working Group in the Department of Classical Studies, she is contributing to the development of resources for teachers and supervisors.

Cora Beth also founded Asterion, a UK-wide initiative running from 2020 to 2024 that successfully aimed to raise the profile of neurodiversity within Classics and put it on the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion agenda of university departments around the country.
