Cora Beth’s practice focuses on supporting neurodivergent people, across multiple settings and life stages. Her particular interest is in the potential for distance learning, and for technology more generally, to reach under-served communities. In a world where connection is ever-present, she champions the importance of distance, space and autonomy for neurodivergent learners.

Support after diagnosis

Cora Beth has worked with hundreds of individuals and families, helping them to understand and process their diagnosis of autism and/or ADHD. As a Psychoeducation Clinician at ProblemShared, she provides evidence-based education through small-group support, working with newly diagnosed adults as well as with parents of newly-diagnosed children and teens.

Support through software

Cora Beth also works with community groups to develop apps created for and by autistic people and their families. As Creative Director on the Fraut Project, she is lead designer and content writer on the original ‘fraut for families’ app, which aims to be the most comprehensive and inclusive autism support app in the UK. She has also produced two free apps: ‘fraut workplace’ and ‘fraut spiky profile’. Both can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

Support at university

Cora Beth has worked for many years as an Associate Lecturer at The Open University, specialising in working with neurodivergent students at undergraduate and MA levels. She currently holds a Visiting Fellowship at The Open University, works as a PhD supervisor in the Department of Classical Studies, and is a two-time recipient of the OU’s Recognition of Excellence in Teaching Award, in 2020 and 2026.
